Hello! By the fact that you are reading this, you have found the website for the Trinity United Methodist Church in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. We believe that this is another step in a wonderful journey as we seek to broaden the evangelical ministry at Trinity UMC - namely, for the making and maturing of disciples in Jesus Christ!
As Noah emerged from the Great Flood, so do we emerge from the great Cedar Rapids Flood of 2008. It has been an unforgettable time - one filled with blessings of all kinds, including the challenging ones. But through it all, the Church remains strong, and committed to the ministry God has planted us for.
The future is exciting here at Trinity, and we'd love to share it with you! We believe that the Church belongs to Jesus Christ (not us), and that we are called to follow Him and serve Him - in other words, that we are called to "love God with all our heart, mind, and soul, and to love our neighbors as ourselves", and that the Bible is His gift for us, to be the "rule and guide for faith and practice". With that in mind, the doors at Trinity are open wide for you to become part of God's family!
